I already said it, but I'll go into a little more detail. So far, this is my favorite episode of season 3. It was a little up and down watching it live, but it seemed very fast-paced and still enjoyable the whole way through. While I wouldn't have called it "bad," the interview with Dogtown Studios could have gone a little better live. To be fair, I wasn't very enthusiastic with the interview to begin with, since my interest in iPhone apps and flash games is little at best. And watching it in the VoD was much better, since the issues with getting parts of the interview to play were cut out. Even with my lack of interest in the game itself, I enjoyed learning a little bit about the development. Especially with only a 72-hour development cycle (insert Majora's Mask "72 hours remain" reference here).
The Top 7 was great as always (especially you pwning Gweedz after two years of his interruptions and second-guessing), but I do have to ask why Soul Calibur and Soul Edge beat the Master Sword. Can either of those blades be used to play lightball tennis? I think not! No arguments with the light saber as #1, though.
I really want to play No More Heroes 2 now, so perhaps I'll give it a rent. I enjoyed the first game despite its flaws, and Jim and Gweedz's praise have really convinced me to try it out.
